Most of this state is open country. Public land runs to the horizon, shots are long, and the weather swings from snow on the Ruby Mountains to 110 degrees in the Mojave. Nevada keeps gun rules simple compared with its neighbours. There is no state registration, no magazine limit, and local governments cannot add their own firearm rules on top of state law. You still need a background check at a licensed dealer, and that is exactly how every firearm here is sold: you order online, name the FFL dealer where you want to collect it, and finish the paperwork and the check in person. Ammunition, magazines, optics and parts ship straight to your door where the law allows.
